Terms of Service

MyBoracayGuide is an online travel marketplace for Boracay. It connects guests with independently owned and operated hotels, resorts, villas, and other accommodations ("Properties"), and offers activities and airport transfers ("Activities" and "Transfers") operated by local partners. We are not the owner or operator of the Properties listed on the Service — each Property is managed by its own partner ("Partner"), who is responsible for the accuracy of their listing, availability, pricing, and the stay itself. MyBoracayGuide facilitates inquiries, bookings, and payments between guests and Partners.

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account and keep your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Partner accounts are additionally subject to our identity verification (KYC) process before a listing can be published — see our Property Verification workflow in the Partner Portal for details.

Sending an inquiry through a property page is a request for availability and does not guarantee a booking. Once a booking is confirmed, payment may be made by bank transfer (with proof of payment uploaded for verification) or by card/e-wallet through our payment processor. All prices are shown in Philippine Peso (₱) and are inclusive of taxes unless stated otherwise. Cancellation and refund terms are set individually by each Property and are shown on the Property's detail page — please review them before booking.

Booking and payment

Activities and Transfers are booked and paid online at the price shown, by Visa, Mastercard, GCash, Maya or bank transfer, and your booking is confirmed by email. Please give us accurate details, including your flight number and arrival time for Transfers and your hotel for pick-ups.

Prices and fees

Prices are in Philippine Peso (₱) and are per person unless stated otherwise. On every Transfer package except Budget, the environmental fee, terminal fees and boat tickets are included. On Budget, you pay them yourself at the port. Children aged 0 to 5 ride free on Transfers when seated on a parent's lap. From 6 years old, the full fare applies.

Airport Transfers

An arrival Transfer cancelled more than 24 hours before arrival is refunded in full. Inside 24 hours, or if you do not show up, there is no refund, but we can move it to a new date. Departure Transfers are not refundable but can be moved to a new date.

We monitor incoming flights. If your flight is delayed, your coordinator adjusts and waits for you at no extra charge. If your flight is cancelled or moved to another day, tell us as soon as possible and we will move your Transfer to the new date at no charge.

If boat crossings are suspended, your Transfer runs as soon as crossings resume, or moves to another date at no charge.

Activities

The following rules apply to all Activities:

1. All activities will take place rain or shine.
2. The company will not refund on the day of the activity if the guests don't show up, are late, decide to leave the tour/activity, or are not present at the departure location.
3. All cancellations must be through email and received by MyBoracayGuide at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled trip.
4. If the reservation is cancelled 24 hours prior to the activity date or less, or if the guest does not show up, payment will be forfeited.
5. A 100% refund will be made if the service is cancelled due to severe weather conditions advised by the coast guard.
6. It will be the company's discretion to accept guests joining the tour/activities under the influence of alcohol, and no refund will be provided.

Refunds and weather

Refunds are paid back to the original payment method within 7 to 14 business days. Boat trips and water activities depend on weather and sea conditions, and the Philippine Coast Guard or local authorities may suspend them. We are not responsible for delays caused by weather, port closures or orders from the authorities.

Partners are solely responsible for the accuracy of their listing content (photos, descriptions, amenities, pricing, and availability) and for honoring confirmed bookings. Listings marked "Verified" have had their ownership/authorization documents reviewed by our team; this does not constitute a guarantee of the stay itself. We reserve the right to remove any listing, suspend, or terminate a Partner account that violates these Terms, provides misleading information, or receives credible complaints of misconduct.

You agree not to: use the Service for any unlawful purpose; submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information; attempt to circumvent our booking or payment process to avoid service fees; scrape, copy, or resell Service content without permission; or interfere with the security or normal operation of the Service.

The Service is provided "as is." We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or availability of any listing, and we are not liable for the acts, errors, omissions, or conduct of any Partner or guest. To the fullest extent permitted by Philippine law, MyBoracayGuide's liability for any claim arising from your use of the Service is limited to the amount of service fees you paid to us for the booking giving rise to the claim.

The MyBoracayGuide name, logo, and website design are our property and may not be used without written permission. Photos and descriptions submitted by Partners remain licensed to us for display on the Service for as long as the listing is active.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above when we do. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Aklan, Philippines.
