Highly Questionable Security and Unexplained Missing Funds Rating: 1/5 Stars ​I am writing this to warn other travelers about the serious security gaps and highly suspicious handling of lost items at One Hagdan. ​During our stay, we noticed a major security flaw: the lower room by the billiard area has a door leading to a generator room with a large, accessible window. We found this door open multiple times, even after we closed it, meaning anyone could have entered the villa while we were upstairs or out. ​After checking out and moving to our next hotel, we realized my brother’s wallet was missing. We immediately contacted One Hagdan, and their team explicitly told us they had already cleaned the room for the next guest and found absolutely nothing. ​Magically, after we left Boracay and returned to our hometowns, staff contacted us saying they "found" the wallet sitting in plain sight on a chair in front of the billiard table. This is an impossible claim. It is a highly visible area that the cleaning crew supposedly already cleared. ​Most concerning of all, the wallet had over 3,000 Pesos in it when it went missing. When the staff sent us a photo of the "found" wallet, it only contained 1,200 Pesos. ​While the wallet was shipped back to us, more than half of the money vanished while in the care of the property, and the story of how and when it was found does not add up at all. The lack of integrity and the shifting stories from the staff are deeply concerning. I strongly advise guests to keep their valuables locked away or stay elsewhere. Aside from that, the villa was great.

One Hagdan Villas in Boracay is a hidden gem that blends luxury, comfort, and warm Filipino hospitality—perfect for travelers seeking a private yet unforgettable island escape. Highly recommended if you want something private and truly a quiet escape from the bustle of city life. Topnotch service too!!!will definitely come back

Very nice accommodation and the service provided by the staff there was second to none. Anything we needed was provided with a smile. We had a great time there.

Cannot recommend One Hagdan Villas enough! From the amazing staff that was always super helpful from the start and greet us with a hand washing ritual to the MOST ROMANTIC dinner set up they did for us🤍also, waking up with the breakfast ready and just have it by the pool while listening to the nature around was a 10/10 experience✨From the food, the villas itself which are so spacious with glass floor-to-ceiling windows and the hospitality, we loved every little aspect of our stay with OHV! Will come back for sure!

We stayed here with a few friends for three days and three nights. They welcomed us at the end of the street where the jeep couldn’t go any further with necklaces in tow. We had a late check that was accommodated for. Welcomed us with drinks and a hot towel. The rest of our stay was amazing! Great views, great staff, we chose to dine in a lot because of the great food and fantastic cocktails. We came in the of Tyhpoon season and even brought food and drinks with a smile with heavy rain and winds! They accommodated we asked for. Nothing was too much for them even a request for the pool to be cleaned late at night after the pool maintenance had already left. They were amazing, catering to our every needs. Could not be happier with the service at One Hagdan Villa. Special mention to all our hosts, Romel, Khier, Eline and Rosebie!!!! You guys made our stay feel like we were home. It was so comfortable and we couldn’t be more grateful for the hospitality they provided. Thank you guys so much, we will certainly come back to ‘our’ villa 😊
