Boracay Water World Hotel sits at Sitio Tulubhan off the Jetty Port road in Manoc-Manoc, on the southern side of the island — and it is worth being clear about what that means, because it is the whole character of the place. This is a beachfront property with its own private, secluded stretch of shoreline, but that shoreline is not White Beach, which is about 1.9 kilometres away. What you get instead is quiet water, a beach you are not sharing with the island's main strip, and Caticlan airport and the Jetty Port only a few minutes off, which makes arrival and departure days genuinely easy. The resort opened in 1991 and was renovated in 2013, and runs to nineteen rooms. There is an outdoor swimming pool with the Story House restaurant and its bar overlooking it, a cafe with complimentary coffee, a garden with a picnic area and barbecue facilities, karaoke rooms, and a massage room. Parasailing and windsurfing run off the beach, along with other motorised and non-motorised water sports, and the front desk can arrange tours and tickets. There is free parking, laundry, luggage storage, limited-hours room service and a shuttle available for an extra charge. Complimentary WiFi covers the property. The front desk is staffed from 8:00am to 10:00pm rather than around the clock, and whether breakfast is included depends on the rate you book. Rooms are non-smoking and comfortably equipped: air conditioning, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, a mini refrigerator, coffee and tea making facilities, a private balcony, a seating area, a work desk and an in-room safe, with a private bathroom carrying a full set of toiletries, a bidet and a hot and cold shower. Housekeeping is daily and wake-up calls are available. Check-in is 2:00pm and check-out 11:00am.
