Phaidon Beach Resort sits on its own private beach in Pandan, Antique, on the Panay mainland — about 40 minutes' drive from Boracay Island and Caticlan Airport, rather than on Boracay itself. It's built around a swimming pool, a garden, a library, a picnic area and a billiards table, with a restaurant, room service and free high-speed WiFi throughout. Scuba diving and boat tours run directly on site, and the resort can arrange airport transfers, tours, meetings and weddings. Six room types are available, all air-conditioned and non-smoking with a private bathroom, a TV and an in-room safe. The Economy Cottage (20 sqm) and Economy Bungalow (24 sqm, ground floor) each have one queen bed and pool views. The Superior Double Room (30 sqm) adds direct pool access. The Deluxe Room (30 sqm) has one king bed and garden views. The Honeymoon Room (45 sqm) has one king bed and beach views. For groups, the two-bedroom Villa Pandan Bay (140 sqm) has its own living room and a furnished, beach-view patio, set up with either a king bed or a double sofa bed. Check-in is from 2:00pm and check-out by 11:00am.
