Ralph's Place sits 86 steps up from Bulabog Beach, its top tier perched about 20 meters above the shore on a cliffside — the climb is the price of admission for a panoramic view over the kitesurfing bay that ground-level properties simply don't get. It's been family-run since the '90s and reads that way: a boutique hilltop retreat set in tropical garden, with no two rooms quite alike. Accommodation spans deluxe queens and twins through studios, bungalows, and multi-bedroom apartments, some with private kitchens and porches, so it handles couples and larger self-catering groups equally well. The lower tiers hold a generous jacuzzi, a spacious common area, a sun terrace, and the on-site restaurant, By Da Way. Station 2 and D'Mall are a 10-15 minute walk away, which is the appeal — close enough to reach the action on foot, far enough up to be out of the noise.
