Bans Beach Resort is a family-run beachfront resort in Station 1, open since 1985 — one of the island's longer-running properties — and just a minute's walk from White Beach. It's spread across 33 rooms in two styles: native, cottage-style units with their own private space close to the beachfront, and standard hotel-style rooms. The resort offers a 24-hour front desk, room service and a daily newspaper. It's been operating on an environmentally compliant basis since 2018. Rooms are air-conditioned with a private bathroom (bidet included), free WiFi, a flat-screen TV with cable channels, a refrigerator, an electric kettle, a work desk and a balcony. Rooms are built for two guests, with an extra bed available for a third. Check-in is from 2:00pm and check-out by 11:00am.
