The Beach House sits on its own stretch of white sand coral beach on Carabao Island, in San Jose, Romblon — a separate island from Boracay, reached by a resort-arranged speedboat transfer of about 30 minutes from Boracay's Cagban Port (book at least 2 days ahead). The house reef sits just 10 metres off the beach, good for snorkeling without a boat. On site there's an air-conditioned restaurant and bar with a panoramic balcony, serving a Filipino/Asian-fusion menu built on organic produce grown on the property and fish sourced from local fishermen. WiFi reaches every room, each room has its own safe, and the property runs on 24-hour power with a backup generator and solar water heating. Five room types are available. The Beach Bungalow is the most affordable and most rustic — 17 sqm, built in a traditional native style right on the beach, with a kitchenette, a fridge, a double bunk bed and a single overhead bed for up to 3 guests. The Deluxe Room (19-20 sqm plus a balcony) is air-conditioned with a smart TV and one queen bed. The Deluxe Family Room (26 sqm plus a balcony) adds a single bed alongside the queen — expandable to two singles — for 3 to 4 guests. At the top, the Premier Room (22 sqm plus a 7.5 sqm balcony) has a sea-facing balcony, a Bose speaker and luxury linens, with one queen bed. Check-in is from 2:00pm and check-out by 11:00am.
