Giulius Boracay Italian Resort sits just back from White Beach in Station 2, a couple of minutes on foot from the sand and moments from the main road — close enough to the Station 2 strip to walk everywhere, far enough back to sleep. As the name suggests it is Italian-run, and the building reflects it: a small resort whose architecture reads as a mix of Filipino and Italian, with rooms arranged around landscaped gardens. There is an outdoor swimming pool with a separate children's pool, and a rooftop terrace looking out over the gardens. The on-site restaurant is the resort's centrepiece — Italian cooking alongside other options — and there is a bar as well, with breakfast served daily and room service available on limited hours. A massage room handles treatments. Practical services are all here: concierge assistance with tours and airport transfers, laundry and dry cleaning, luggage storage, currency exchange, parking and a lift. Complimentary WiFi covers the rooms and public areas. Rooms are unusually varied for a property this size. The entry-level Semi Deluxe is a compact queen room of around sixteen square metres; the Deluxe adds a few metres and a garden-view balcony; the Premier Deluxe rooms are twenty-two square metres with a balcony, a small living area and soundproofed walls, and come with either a king bed or two singles. Above those sit an Executive room with a kitchenette, a two-bedroom Family Room of about fifty square metres sleeping four, and a two-storey three-bedroom condo with three bathrooms, a full kitchen, a living room and its own private roof deck looking out over the trees, which sleeps six. Every room is air-conditioned with a flat-screen TV, a refrigerator, an in-room safe, a wardrobe and an en suite bathroom. Check-in is 2:00pm and check-out 11:00am.
