Boracay Ocean Club Resort & Spa sits directly on the sand in Station 3, the calmer southern stretch of White Beach where the crowds thin out but the sunsets are at their best. It is a full-scale resort rather than a boutique stay: 125 rooms across ten categories, from a 24-square-metre Superior near the lobby to a 61-square-metre Presidential Suite with its own outdoor terrace over the pool and ocean. Days are built around the water — an infinity pool that the resort bills as the island's finest, a second inground pool, and a Dip & Dine setup that lets you eat overlooking either — while the rooftop viewing deck is the spot to be as the sun goes down. Three restaurants handle the eating, the Sky Club handles the evenings, and a nightly entertainment programme runs through Hawaiian dancers, live acoustic sets with a saxophonist, a DJ, fire dancers and a foam party. There is a full spa for massages and facials, and a properly equipped gym with free weights and treadmills. Every room comes air conditioned with high-speed WiFi, an HD TV, a safety box, a personal refrigerator and coffee-making facilities; most add a private balcony, and the upper categories add bathtubs, separate shower rooms and ocean views. Rates include daily breakfast, and airport transfers from Caticlan or Kalibo can be arranged. Guestrooms and balconies are strictly non-smoking, with a designated outdoor smoking area instead.
