Boracay Jet Ski: Ride the Waves at Full Speed

The Boracay jet ski experience puts you in control of a powerful watercraft as you race across the turquoise waters off the island’s coastline. Whether you want a quick 15 minute adrenaline rush or a full hour of open water riding, jet skiing in Boracay is one of the most exhilarating ways to enjoy the ocean. You rent the jet ski unit, not a per person ticket, which means you and a companion can share the experience at no extra cost. No license or prior experience is required. The operator provides a safety briefing covering throttle control, steering, and the designated riding area before you set off. Life jackets are mandatory and included. The jet ski units are modern, well maintained, and easy to handle even for first time riders. A safety boat monitors the area at all times to ensure a safe experience. If you are looking for more water activities to fill your Boracay itinerary, check out Boracay parasailing for a bird’s eye view of the island or the Boracay banana boat ride for a fun group experience on the water. Book your Boracay jet ski session online and secure your preferred time slot.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Jet ski rental in Boracay starts at ₱2,500 for 15 minutes as of 2026. The 30 minute session costs ₱4,000 and the 1 hour session costs ₱8,000. These prices are per jet ski unit, not per person. For the 15 minute ride, 2 people share one unit. For 30 minutes and 1 hour, up to 3 people share one unit by taking turns. Hotel pickup and life jackets are included in all packages.

No. You do not need a license or any prior experience to ride a jet ski in Boracay. The operator provides a complete safety briefing before your session covering throttle control, steering, braking, and the boundaries of the riding area. The jet ski units are straightforward to operate, similar to riding a scooter on water. Drivers must be at least 16 years old, but no formal license or certification is required.

There are three jet ski session lengths available in Boracay: 15 minutes (₱2,500), 30 minutes (₱4,000), and 1 hour (₱8,000). The 15 minute session is great for a quick thrill, while the 30 minute and 1 hour options give you more time to explore the riding area and get comfortable at higher speeds. Including hotel pickup and the safety briefing, expect the total experience to take about 1 to 2 hours depending on the session length you choose.

Both options are available. For the 15 minute session, 2 riders share one jet ski at the same time, with one person driving and the other sitting behind as a passenger. For the 30 minute and 1 hour sessions, up to 3 riders share one unit by taking turns, so each person gets to drive solo. If you want to ride alone for the full duration, you can book a 15 minute session for yourself. The pricing is per unit, so sharing with a partner makes it more cost effective.

Yes. Jet skiing in Boracay is designed to be safe for first time riders. The operator provides a thorough safety briefing, life jackets are mandatory, and a safety boat monitors the designated riding area throughout your session. The riding zone is marked with boundaries to keep you away from swimmers and boat traffic. The jet ski units are modern and well maintained. Start slow to get a feel for the throttle and steering, then build up speed as you gain confidence.

After hotel pickup and a safety briefing, you climb onto the jet ski at the beach launch point and head out into open water. The riding area is in the calm waters along Boracay’s coastline, giving you clear turquoise water and views of the island as you ride. You can cruise at a comfortable speed or open the throttle for an adrenaline rush. Expect to get splashed, especially when bouncing over waves. The operator stays nearby to assist if needed. After your session, you return to the beach and get dropped back at your hotel.

It depends on what kind of experience you want. Jet skiing (₱2,500 for 15 minutes) puts you in control and delivers a hands on, high speed thrill on the water. Parasailing lifts you high above the ocean for a peaceful, panoramic aerial view of Boracay’s coastline. Jet skiing is better if you want adrenaline and active participation. Parasailing is better if you want breathtaking views and a more relaxed experience. Many visitors book both activities on the same day since they complement each other well.

The best time to jet ski in Boracay is during the dry season from November to April when seas are calm and skies are clear. Morning sessions between 9 AM and 11 AM offer the calmest water conditions and fewer boats in the area. Afternoon sessions from 1 PM to 3 PM are also available and can be great if you want warmer water temperatures. Avoid booking too close to 3 PM as that is the last pickup slot. Jet skiing is a weather dependent activity, so calm, sunny days give you the best experience.
